Read how Briefly delivers its service, how billing works, and what we both commit to.
These Terms govern the use of the Briefly service provided by Cho & Ahn ("Briefly", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. Material updates will be announced at least 7 days in advance (30 days if materially unfavorable).
You must be at least 14 years old and use accurate information. Using another person’s identity or automated signups is prohibited.
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account.
Briefly provides recording uploads, transcription, summaries, exports, and collaboration features. Features may differ by plan.
We may modify or discontinue features to improve performance, security, or compliance. We will provide notice of material changes.
Planned maintenance and urgent fixes may temporarily limit availability; we aim for minimal impact and will notify when possible.
Paid plans are billed via the methods shown at checkout (e.g., card). Taxes may apply.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime effective at the end of the current term.
Refunds: within 7 days of purchase you may request a full refund; within 14 days only if the service was not used. Beyond that, refunds are not provided except where required by law.
You own the content you upload or create. You grant Briefly a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and process it solely to operate and improve the service.
You represent that your content and its processing are lawful and that you have obtained any needed permissions from participants.
Briefly materials (software, logos, models, templates) remain our property; no rights are transferred except as expressly granted.
Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or that contains malware.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, circumvent security, or overload the service.
Do not use the service for real-time safety-critical scenarios without your own redundancy and validation.
We process personal data per our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest and are not used to train foundation models.
You are responsible for configuring sharing, external integrations, and access controls appropriate to your organization.
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for production services (see SLA for credits).
Support is provided via email and in-app channels; response times may vary by plan.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal requirements, or risk to the service.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes and then delete it safely.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee accuracy of AI outputs or suitability for your purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid by you in the prior 12 months; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Seoul, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
